CORY MILLER (Director)

Cory completed the graduate program at UCLA FILM and TV and was a Spotlight Award winner before becoming a blacklisted writer for his 2013 feature LINE OF DUTY. He is presently at The Sundance Writer’s Lab for his new feature, CITY ON FIRE, about The MOVE bombing in Philly, his hometown. Before going into film, Cory was a citizen investigator in NYC for three years, investigating complaints against the NYPD, where he closed more cases than anyone before him.


JUDY PHU (director of photography)

Judy Phu is the oldest child of Vietnamese war refugees. Their journeys and experiences provoke her imagination, and inspires her to fight for once in a lifetime types of stories and storytellers. Judy's credits include JOIN THE CLUB (Sundance Premiere), BOXED IN (IFC premiere), the HBO feature documentary, ABORTION: Stories Women Tell (Tribeca Premiere). Currently, she is contributing cinematography to the Untitled Geena Davis Women in Hollywood documentary project, and is conspiring on wild collaborations with some bold creators.


 Grad of NYU and founder of Black Poppy Productions, Julie has produced a number of independent projects including award winning shorts THE PINK SORRYS and TAKEN TO THE CLEANERS, as well as web-series POWERHOUSE. She has produced music video for artists John LegendTeddy King, Henry Canyons, and Adam Zwig. Commercial clients include Aflac, The Grammy's, and Nissan.
